Negative language can become a self destructive pattern which perpetuates a state of fear and anxiety. On this episode of the anxiety guy podcast I’m sharing three sentences that must be mindfully replaced in order to bring about anxiety freedom. Let’s go!
Show notes
Are you aware of the power of language in shaping our thoughts and emotions? In this episode of the Anxiety Guide Podcast, we explore the unconscious ways we speak to ourselves and others that can perpetuate anxiety.
In this episode, I emphasize the importance of paying attention to the words we use, as they are commands that our subconscious mind takes literally (this YouTube video will explain in detail). Many of the wordings we use are unconsciously adopted from authority figures and can perpetuate negative thought patterns.
Examples of negative language to avoid include sentences that end with “drives me crazy,” “makes me sick,” or “is killing me.” They encourage listeners to replace these phrases with more positive language and to pay attention to whether their thoughts and words are truly their own or influenced by others.
It’s fascinating to realize how much power our negative language has over our thoughts and emotions. By being mindful of the language we use, we can take control of our mental and emotional well-being.
I want to remind you that you are on a spiritual path and encourage you to embrace uncertainty and the unknown. It’s okay to not have all the answers, and it’s important to trust the journey. If you’re struggling with anxiety, I invite you to check out our anxiety recovery programs and begin your healing journey.
Remember, the power of language is in your hands. Use it wisely and watch your thoughts and emotions transform- “Our words have power, and we can use that power to create positive change in our lives.”
So, what are you waiting for? Tune in to the Anxiety Guide Podcast and start your journey towards a more positive and fulfilling life.

Quotes
- “If you speak words to other people that keep you in a vibration of fear, you need to replace those words instantly. You cannot finish a sentence with some sort of victimhood attached to it. You must replace it with the direction that you are actually headed in your life, which is towards self-love, inner peace and true enlightenment”
- “And different is good because different empowers other people unknowingly at first to be different as well.”
- “You are on a spiritual path, my friends, and the more you embrace this path, the faster you’re gonna get to where you’re supposed to go. So embrace it.”
- “Make friends with uncertainty, be friends with the unknown, and I promise you, the surprises that show up in your life will no longer affect you so negatively.”
Conclusion
Words are commands and they dictate the direction our lives are going. It’s important you make the changes from negative language to more neutral or positive language a lifestyle and not just something you do for anxiety. For this is a change at a macro level, the identity and spiritual level, and goes far beyond just the healing of a negative state of being such as fear and anxiety.
